I missed the Bookmobile on Thursday so we went to check out the Arbutus Library. What a delightful experience. I am a library junkie, I visit libraries when traveling just to see what they offer. Now I have a 25,000 square foot library less than 2 miles away. The new book section had 4 big bookcases of new books as well as a whole wall of very new and recommended books. The periodicals and newspapers are located in the quiet room with a door. The magazine section is on two long walls with a fireplace located on one wall. Of course, there are dozens of computers with a self check in computer station. There is a self checkout for books so you don’t have to wait in line. There is a large children and young adult section also. Arbutus is part of the Baltimore County Library System.
